c. Description:
The Golden Rod 30 Series is an easy-to-operate hydraulic pump jack
that is capable of a 40,000lb lift. The GR-30 eliminates the need for
sucker rods, and instead reciprocates the entire tubing string to work a
large-bore downhole pump. This open bore approach allows for the
production of high volumes of liquids or formation solids at a very low
stroke rate.

A) The top half of a Split Polish Rod runs through a
patented hollow piston rod and attaches to the top of the hydraulic
cylinder with a rod clamp
B) The bottom half of the Split Polish Rod threads to the top of a Reciprocating Cross-over Joint down hole
C) The bottom of the Reciprocating Cross-over joint is threaded to the tubing string
D) The bottom of the tubing string is attached to the Kelly of an anchored down hole pump
E)
The hydraulic cylinder reciprocates the hollow piston rod, and
therefore, the polish rod and the tubing string, providing the required
reciprocating action to the down hole pump |
